Pandemic and Relocating

What an interesting year 2020 has been so far.  Covid 19 has certainly turned my world upside down.  Yet in many ways, this pandemic has made me reconsider, analyze, and even re-educate my daily routine.  I am also very grateful and blessed for my health, my family and my role as your real estate advisor.

I am frequently asked 'How is real estate?", “Is now still a good time to buy? To sell?

My response is that life moves forward despite the pandemic.  You and I make the best choices we can.  Sometimes, the choices are made for us, and we find ourselves in the midst of having to relocate.

If you are needing to relocate and in the buyers seat, there are still homes awaiting new owners.  There are many great new communities with move-in ready homes.  I've got to admit, viewing homes today, may require a virtual tour, mask, gloves and/or sanitizer.   A virtual showing has become quite successful and pretty convenient. Technology has provided many apps to walk you through the home via Facetime, Snapchat, WhatsAPP.

It's no different if you are a home seller.  It seems we have had many disrupters, but one thing remains true: Home is our sanctuary.  We continue to have major companies coming the Austin area and with that there are buyers being relocated.  People still need to move up or downsize.  With historically low mortgage rates, buyers are looking to make a move; adjusting to a new work scenario- work from home.  Homes needs have changed considerably.  You may find yourself needing a different space.  If so,  you want to work with a real estate professional such as myself who truly understands what it takes to successfully market a home in these unique conditions – and is dedicated to delivering results.

As a Mega Marketing Realtor,  you benefit from the plethora of unsurpassed marketing tools that are critical to success in today’s market.  These are marketing tools that have been part of my portfolio for many years.  Getting the right "picture perfect"  professional photos and aerial photos are a must!  Now more than ever, a personal virtual tour and a virtual open house allows buyers to view your home at anytime without being physically present.  These have definitely become "marketing musts."

Marketing to buyers via social media as well as the online marketplace is still vital.  I have the resources to make sure your home is targeted to the right audience on the most important channels, and that I receive the leads on inquiries so I can connect with every interested party.  I have the know-how and a solid plan in place to follow through.

To help announce your house’s arrival on the market, high-quality mailers as well as an impressive eFlyer is still part of my marketing plan. Do you know why? They produce results and generate buzz for you!  Since traditional broker tours for the real estate industry are not practical right now,  our weekly update is an in-house communication tool that lets my colleagues know about your home’s availability so they can, in turn, let their home-buying clients know.  It’s just another way that I put my vast and interconnected network to work for you. Part of a successful home marketing plan is having a well-rounded strategy

Your home on TV?  Yes! Absolutely! Coldwell Banker has its own weekly television show, and I can include your home on it. With more people sheltering in place and tuning into television these days, now is an opportune time to take advantage of this!  By the way, viewership for our TV show is up 50% right now, giving me the ability to showcase your home on a grand scale.

That means more exposure for your beautiful home!
